51.2V 50Ah 16S wall-mounted solar household LiFePO4 power wall deep cycle lithium battery for energy storage
Battery Features:
Charging voltage: Each lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cell has a nominal voltage of 3.2V. In a 16S configuration, the maximum charge voltage would be 16 * 3.2 = 51.2V.
Charging current: The battery has a capacity of 50Ah, so it could accept a maximum charge current of 50A before hitting the 1C rate limit (1C = charge in 1 hour).
Discharging voltage: As the battery discharges, the cell voltage will drop slowly from 3.2V. The low voltage cut-off per cell is around 2.5V to prevent over-discharge. For a 16S pack this would be around 2.5V * 16 = 40V.
Discharging current: The maximum continuous discharge current would typically be limited to the 1C rate of 50A to maintain battery life.
Charge/discharge Termination: Charging is terminated when the voltage reaches 51.2V. Discharging ends when the voltage drops below the low voltage cut-off, usually set by the battery management system.
Expected Lifespan: When properly maintained, a LiFePO4 battery can last over 5000 cycles or 10-15 years of use depending on depth of discharge in each cycle.

Maintenance requirements for LiFePO4 batteries in a residential solar + storage system
Monitoring battery state of health (SOH) - Periodic checks via the BMS can catch any capacity fade issues early.
Balancing cells - Equalizing charge periodically ensures all cells remain balanced for maximum capacity.
Temperature management - Batteries need to be kept within operating temperature range (usually 0-45°C).
Tightening connections - Check that all electrical connections are clean and tight, especially after vibration.
Clean environment - Keep areadust/debris free for cooling and prevent corrosion on terminals.
Software updates - Upgrade BMS firmware to fix any issues and add new features.
Full discharge/charge cycles - Once every 6 months, fully discharge then charge the battery to recalibrate BMS.
Records logging - Track cycles, kWh in/out over time for warranty purposes.
Physical inspection - Check for cracks, leaks or other signs of damage or swelling.
